SALE + Haul: BHG / ALT 20% off (ft Revlon Lip Butter swatches)

Hi again!

I have a post here regarding another sale! BHG is currently having 20% off on almost all the items. Please do check with the cashier before paying as some items I wanted initially like the Steam Cream was not entitled to the discount. If you want to do a little beauty shopping, head over to the ALT section where they carry a lot of Japanese brands. I was at Clementi BHG/ALT so I thought I popped by to pick up some necessities!

As I was browsing, I found out that ALT sells Beauty Blender sponges! This is probably old news by now as I had not been to BHG for ages.

The sponges are sold at $29.90 each. Read my review HERE.

Next I headed to the Revlon counter as I know that the Revlon lip butters have been stirring a craze here in Singapore, and almost worldwide too! These are on a promotion price of $15.90 and with 20% off, there are only $12.70 now! The ALT that I visited has a lot of stock and almost brand new testers.

Swatches:

Row 1 (L-R): Macaroon, Sugar Plump, Strawberry shortcake

Row 2 (L-R): Lollipop, Cherry tart, Fig jam

Row 3 (L-R): Peach parafait, Brown sugar

Peach parafait contains the most amount of shimmers and the other shades, such as Strawberry shortcake, have some shimmers as well but not very visible. I did pick up a shade but it was for my mum as i know it would fit nicely into her plum or dark rose category of lipsticks. Her favourite Mac shade is Sweetie. So if you like Sweetie, perhaps give Sugar plum a try? The shade is not too plum at all in my opinion.

I was tempted to get a lipstick from the new Maybelline Colorsensational series but I decided to spend my money on necessities instead. See how well behaved I am?

So this is my tiny haul! This Freshel cleansing oil is a repurchase as my current bottle is almost finished! My current bottle was gifted to me at the Kanebo Freshel event HERE and I shall do a review on it soon. As for the Organix moroccan argan oil, it was also a repurchase. I find this treatment just mediocre but it did moisturize my hair ends, so I thought why not just pick up this again and give it another chance since it is 20% off.

That is all! Please let me know if you want lip swatches of sugar plum or if you want the Freshel cleansing oil review as soon as possible!

Thanks for reading ~

@the makeup blogette: Ya I just learned that it broke Kimberley out too! I guess it must have been the mineral oil but it seems like my skin just loves anything with mineral oil in it, haha!

Sophia:Me too, I find that it doesn't cleanse well on thicker foundation.

I wanna go to BHG too! hehee Smiling hopefully the sale last through to the weekend Smiling
Yes, I agree with Chantana. The Freshel cleansing oil doesn't seem to remove all trances of foundation on my face and I don't wear a lot to begin with. hehee.. guess u're the only fan of it Smiling good that u found a product that works for u!

@elizaheartsmakeup : Yes! It should be entitled to 20% off Smiling

@everbluec: True but there is a high possibility the product does not work for most of the people!

@hazelnutt: Thanks Smiling I probably didn't notice if it leaves any trace of foundation cause at the end of the day, I just use clearasonic which just digs out all the junk in my pores haha! But I do have to use 2 pumps each time, which explains why I finish the cleansing oil so fast! lol.
